Counselling

Although women have many of the same problems as men do, some are unique. Most women turn inwards with their emotional difficulties which often result into anxiety, depression and low self esteem. Women are often considered an easy target for bullying especially if they’re in a male dominated field. Many female students constantly have to struggle with the pressure of proving themselves and are often expected to ignore the sexism they face.WISE wants to provide a safe haven for women to be able to discuss their problems with peer counsellors who might have experienced similar problems. If you need our counselling services, then please send us a message at wiseyorku@gmail.com
